How to menutise your garden by growiing your own pesto

✅ Bunch of chard ✅ 3 x cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed ✅ Rapeseed or other oil (4 x tbsps or more) ✅ Cashew or any other nuts available (generous handful)

✅ Nutritional yeast, vegetarian hard cheese or parmesan (handful) ✅ Salt

1. Wash the chard. Use a salad spinner, if you have one, to remove excess water. Otherwise shake and roll up in a clean tea towel and press gently.

2. Remove the chard stems.

3. Roughly chop the chard.

4. Add to a food processor with all other ingredients and pulse*.

5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more of the above ingredients as desired.

*you can also blend the ingredients using a pestle and mortar.

Eat with raw, steamed or sautéed chard stalks, yum!
